This is my 200th blog post.
It is October 29, 2013.
When I hit my 100th blog post on November 11, 2012 I did a post covering how many views my blog was getting. I really liked that idea and it eventually spawned nichesitejournal.com.
In this post I want to show how much has changed in the last 100 posts.
Some Cool Facts About my Blog:
- I published my first post on February 15, 2010 (3 years, 8 months, and 14 days ago).
- It took me almost 3 years to publish my first 100 articles and I published the last 100 articles in less than 1 year (approximately 2 per week).
- I started the Jason Loves Life Podcast on April 11, 2013 (about 6 months ago).
My Blog Visitors Statistics:
- In September of 2013, I had 1048 unique visitors come to my site.
- Of those unique visitors, I received 1142 visits. This is 220.79% more than the year before.
- While the number of visitors has gone up dramatically, the number of pages they visit and the length of time they spend on my site has gone down 70%.
Where does my traffic come from?
- 35% of my visitors comes from Social Media with Twitter being #1
- 24% External links (other people’s websites)
- 19% Search Traffic
- 18% Direct Traffic (they type in my URL)
- 4% others (not sure)
