Unfortunately my daughter has jaundice which means she needs to give blood daily. Thanks to our capitalist driven healthcare, instead of getting blood work at the hospital we have to take her to a place that charges the insurance company less money. This company is cheaper because the person running the place was fired from McDonalds and now trying to figure out how to take blood from a new born.
Completed Today
- Spent morning with upset newborn, antsy two year old, and stressed out wife at medical facility (wife still can’t drive or pick up my son because of c-section surgery).
- Found out getting unemployment is a pain in the ass. Talked to a guy this morning who basically said I would have to wait to see if I am eligible after being told I was and spending 4 hour filling out paper work.
- I am taking the rest of the day off to calm down.
Afterthought
I was tempted not to publish this update because I rarely get upset. My personality is easy going but every once in awhile I get overwhelmed.
I am leaving this as a reminder to myself that bumps happen.
